Table 48

Table 48 is a popular restaurant in a large corner building filled with locals when I visited – most were obviously regulars having lots of fun and banter with the staff. There were also many family groups with parents and teenage children dining together.

Table 48 is also a great “”date- restaurant”” with small rooms of tables for two. Tables were attactively set with paper cloths, the black framed windows and paintings were in keeping with the decore, and lively music played in the background. The mainly Italian menu is supplemented with a specials board offering a wide choice. Entrees included, soup, oysters, bruschetta, scallops en brochette, grilled sardines, a tasting plate to share, and salt and pepper calamari. The calamari and the scallops were well cooked and perfect for a winters night. There were over eleven main courses to choose from complimented by five specials plus a further eleven pasta or risotto dishes and pizzas.

Table 48 is also a great venue for functions. We have two smaller Function Rooms suitable for Celebrations, Business Lunches or Groups of Friends. Seating between 8 to 12 people these rooms are semi private and book out fast.

Due to the flexibility of Table 48 we can offer larger Function Spaces for between 40-50ppl. With it’s own Bar this room makes for a totally Private and Perfect Solution to Celebration needs. We recommend that groups over 20 discuss our Set-Menu options with us.
