The Spirit of Anzac Centenary Experience is a travelling exhibition that tells the story of Australia’s involvement in the First World War, and the ensuing Century of Service of Australia’s armed forces in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations in which Australia has been involved.
The experience follows the timeline of the wars and conflicts that Australia has been apart of spanning pre-war times to the present day.
The experience is a new type of storytelling and engagement for kids and adults alike. The story of the Anzac is told through a mix of arresting visuals and powerful audio and film to capture the imagination of an audience and take them back through time.
The experience will begin its national tour in September 2015 where it will appear in many locations throughout Australia from regional to suburban.
What’s more, the experience has been created so that it’s tailored to tell local stories, as well as the main experience there is a section dedicated to working with local communities and archives to tell stories and share tales of valour that are relevant to local areas.
